I picked up my hamster Izzy on the 8th May 2011 and she is soooo very tame and friendly. She sits at the front of her cage to watch what it is I am doing, be fetched out, have a treat or go in her ball. She is so easy to handled and we are very pleased that she has joined our family. Sam was very helpful and her recommondations about both which Hamster to buy and the type of cage were invaluable .He is so friendly, relaxed and entertaining that our daughter ( and son 7 year old twins) are enthralled by him and his antics . Couldn't recommend a better breeder and we did drive from Central Bedfordshire to get him but it was definately worth it .Many thanks Sam and long may the Satine Hamstery continue. 10) Name Louise Wain Comment I first had a hamster as a child and was told to always buy directly from a breeder as the babies are well cared for and at the right age to come away from the mother. We found Samantha online through the ‘Preloved’ website. She had just had a new litter from Satine and Sparks. We went over to take a look and fell for ‘Izzy’ immediately. She is now two and still very cheeky and playful, with the friendliest nature you could ever want. She is so easy to handle and has never bitten, a delight to have as a pet. 9) Name Louise Green Comment My boyfriend and I decided to go to pets at Home to buy a hamster first of all. We bought "Milo" who sadly died two weeks later. My boyfriend decided to use a hamster breeder next time, that’s when we found Sam who informed us of the dangers of pet stores we were mortified of how they treat them so decided to get one from Sam as its clear how caring she is towards animals. We travelled to pick up our new hamster a few weeks later and I can honestly say I’ve never had or seen a hamster quite like "Oscar"! He's just gorgeous, very active and adores being handled and often is so relaxed he falls asleep on the sofa! Thanks Sam for the best hamster I’ve ever had!! x 8) Name Lisa Reeves Comment We very luckily bumped into Samantha at our local pet shop just after we had started to look for a hamster for our son. At that time she advised us not to buy from a pet shop and to go to a breeder instead, as their hamsters would be used to being handled. We were aware that some of our son’s friends had bought hamsters that were very timid and required some patience before they were comfortable around people. They were not very tame at all and had even been known to bite on the odd occasion. We, therefore, decided to take Samantha’s advice and proceeded to get in touch with her. Fortunately Sam had two litters available that were ready to move on to new homes. A couple of weeks later, Coco, a short haired honey dove Syrian with a white blaze under her chin and white ‘socks’ was purchased. Sam kindly looked after her for us while we waited for Coco’s cage to arrive. One week later Coco was home. It’s true to say she has been an instant hit. She is constantly on the go and loves to be handled, waiting by the cage door whenever we go near it, in the hope she can come out again. This little creature has given us all so much pleasure, and is considered another addition to the family. Sam has been a great source of information, as to what is best for Coco.
